Early Modern Times: Our Week Ahead ~ 09 Feb 2015

Week: 1
This will be the most basic of posts, no pictures n prettys.....
I'm in the throes of organising 3 birthday celebrations for next week, amongst some other special family events happening, so schooling is a focus and get it done task for me this week.
Even though it's always a busy-beyond-belief week for me - all self inflicted ☺ - I enjoy birthday week in our home so much.

Here's out week ahead:

Family
Read Aloud: Papa Was a Preacher ~ Porter
Afternoon Audio: Don Quixote ~ Cervantes (purchase the kindle first to get the audio for $4.99 NZ)
We are rather enjoying the portion of Don Quixote we've heard so far; Part 1 - but be advised some of the content issues may need editing out, or as I prefer to do with some books once the children are older, discuss that content.  Not sure what the rest of the story is like - someone mentioned cursing in Vol 2 (?)
ETA: Part 2, on our audio download, definitely contains content issues that required discussion, and editing out (pre-marital relationship and then abandonment, adultery)
